"Chrome Hearts" Shinsaibashi Store Announces Closure

Chrome Hearts has officially announced that its retail location in Osaka's Shinsaibashi district will permanently close on August 8, 2026.

Many Chrome Hearts Osaka customers have recently received the closure notification. Alongside the closure announcement, the letter states: "We sincerely thank all customers who have visited us and everyone who has supported us. While our store operations will come to a close, we will continue to cherish our connection with each of you and look forward to meeting again in an improved form."

Amid a global wave of retail closures, Chrome Hearts has remained remarkably steady. The Shinsaibashi store's closure is attributed to structural deterioration and aging infrastructure of the building.

As Chrome Hearts' second store in Japan, following the 1999 Minami-Aoyama Tokyo location, the Osaka store opened on January 31, 2001, making it an established 25-year-old shop.

Chrome Hearts OSAKA is also a pilgrimage destination for countless Chrome Hearts collectors. Compared to the two other Kansai stores in Umeda and Kobe, the Shinsaibashi store receives daily restocks with a more complete selection across all categories, and nearly every day sees long queues forming outside.

Finally, the Chrome Hearts Osaka Shinsaibashi store has confirmed it will officially close on August 8 of this year—those interested can pay a visit before that date.
