Permission Request Description
Effective Date: July 6, 2026
Scope of Application: These instructions apply to the CHHES i OS app, Android app, and versions distributed through various phone manufacturers' channels. Permission pop-ups and system authorization paths may differ on the website, We Chat mini-program, or other platforms.
CHHES follows the minimum necessary principle when requesting system permissions. In addition to basic capabilities like network access, we typically only request relevant permissions when you use specific features; you may refuse or disable non-essential permissions, but the corresponding features may not function properly.
1. Common Permissions and Usage Scenarios
- Network Access: Used for registration and login, browsing products, placing orders, payments, tracking shipments, contacting customer service, AI-assisted services, push notifications, registration, and security verification.
- Notification permissions: Used for order reminders, shipping updates, system notifications, promotional alerts, customer service messages, and account security alerts. Disabling this won't affect core functions, but you may not receive timely notifications.
- Camera Permission: Used for taking product photos, uploading after-sales certificates, image recognition, QR code scanning, OCR text recognition, or customer service communication. If declined, you can switch to uploading from your photo album or providing a text description.
- Photo album or media access: used to select images, upload credentials, save necessary images, or perform image recognition. We will not proactively read photo album content unrelated to the functionality.
- Storage or file access: Used to cache pages, save images, upload files, read attachments you actively select, or improve App stability. Authorization names may vary across different Android versions.
- Clipboard: When you actively copy an order number, tracking number, promo code, customer service information, or search term, the App may read from or write to the clipboard for pasting purposes. We will not use clipboard content for purposes unrelated to the current function.
- One-tap mobile login: This feature uses carrier gateway authentication to verify your phone number and complete the login. It relies on network connectivity, SIM card recognition, or carrier authentication results, and does not access SMS messages, contacts, or call logs.
2. Push Notifications and Manufacturer SDK
To enable online and offline push notifications, the CHHES App integrates DCloud uni Push and may invoke manufacturer push SDKs such as Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, and Meizu based on your device brand. Overseas Android devices may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Related services may process device information, device identification information, app information, network information, push token, notification toggle status, push message identifiers, and notification delivery statistics. For the complete list, please refer to the "Push Notification Disclaimer".
3. How to Disable Permissions
You can manage permissions in your device's system settings. Common paths are "System Settings - Apps - CHHES - Permissions" or "System Settings - Notifications - CHHES". Paths may vary depending on phone brand, OS version, and app store channel, so please follow what your device displays.
4. Impact of Refused Authorization
Declining a specific permission typically only affects the corresponding feature. For example, after turning off notifications, you may not receive timely order and logistics reminders; after denying camera access, you cannot take photos directly for upload but can choose from your photo album or text input instead; after denying photo album access, you cannot select local images; when not using one-tap phone number login, you can choose other methods such as password, SMS verification code, or Apple Sign-In. We will not stop providing basic services unrelated to a permission just because you decline a non-essential permission.
5. Feedback
If you believe a permission request is unrelated to the functionality, or wish to learn more about permissions, SDKs, or personal information handling, please contact us via online customer service, We Chat customer service (chhes 2), phone at 010-56033331, or email at admin@chhes.com.
