Bearbrick is a building system toy brand invented by Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara. The concept behind Bearbrick is a small bear-shaped figure used as a modular building unit to create various adorable designs. These units can be freely combined to build diverse figures with endless creative possibilities. Bearbrick bears possess both magical power and a warm, cozy feeling. They blend numerous unique elements together, creating astonishing designs.

Bearbrick was founded in 2000 by Hiroshi Fujiwara, a powerhouse creative director who brought fresh perspectives to magazines, CDs, decor, clothing, and fashion products. In his view, Bearbrick represents a new-generation culture born from street culture, showcasing his understanding and preservation of street culture.
Bearbrick can function as a standalone art piece, but it can also be customized into various personalized forms using common components, helping people release ideas, express thoughts, and convey their inner voice. Bearbrick has a wide range of applications, including cultural and creative products, three-dimensional decor, corporate and hotel styling, international film promotions, advertising materials, and many other fields. It is immensely popular both domestically and internationally, known for its durability, ease of use, and compact design, earning widespread acclaim.
Additionally, Bearbrick also introduced a complete set of component concepts, namely "Brick-Link" accessory definitions, allowing bricks of different sizes and shapes to be connected into a single unit. These Brick-Link components not only connect bricks into a unified whole but also help children develop rational thinking and conceptual thinking, greatly enhancing their cognitive abilities.

Bearbrick toys are also an important element in the fashion world. At the Shanghai Fashion Week on May 9, 2008, Be@rbrick made its first appearance in the Chinese market as the cover feature of the special magazine BE@RBRICK Magazine, marking the opening of the 2010 Spring Be@rbrick & KAWS China Tour. The subsequent Be@rbrick | KAWS reissued "KAWS Companion" touring edition in 500% size garnered significant attention. On April 3, 2010, the Be@rbrick X KAWS BE@RBRICK CHINA TOUR 2010 China leg "KAWS COMPANION" 500% touring edition was officially released.
