BE@RBRICK, widely known as the block bear, is a toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. It officially launched in August 2001, and by 2009 the 18 th generation had been released. In mainland China, it is distributed by PPW.

Version:What collectors refer to as "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version" simply refers to the region of sale. There is no difference in the toy itself. All are produced by the same manufacturer. Only the certification labels may vary due to different regional regulations. Everything else is identical. The Mainland China version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear-head features: both ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's asymmetrical ears), slightly puffed cheeks and lips, a small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank figure), head can rotate 360° at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:100% style features fully poseable arms at the shoulders; pincer-shaped hands with no fingers; hands rotate freely at the wrists (the key distinguishing feature from Popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:Full 360° rotation; hips slightly extended downward.
Leg:Rotates freely in all directions at the thigh joint. The foot extends slightly forward, with two round holes on each foot surface. The sole is flat with one round hole per foot. The leg has a cubic shape. The back of the leg typically displays version information.
Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of a Bearbrick can be detached from the torso (by pulling with force; the hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended—frequent disassembly loosens the connection points, eventually leading to 'habitual separation.' Without the internal structure, the parts become loose and wobbly.
400%, 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes of Bearbrick are identical in form, just larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate within the front-back plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to the larger size and internal gear design, unlike the 100%, which is simply modular assembly. Of course, these two sizes are also non-disassemblable, so never use force...

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
