Bearbrick, widely known as the building-block bear, is a toy produced by Japan's MediumICOM. Officially launched in August 2001, the 18 th generation had arrived by 2009. Distribution in mainland China is handled by PPW.

Styles:Every Bearbrick series includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC — Base ModelEach series releases one color as its signature shade. The chest features a single glossy bead and nine letters that spell out B-E-A-R-B-R-I-C-K.
JELLYBEAN — Translucent ModelEach generation comes in translucent colors—primarily clear with new color releases.
PATTERN:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG:Each generation has a basic national flag series.

Version:The so-called 'Japanese version', 'Hong Kong version' etc. that collectors often mention are simply distinctions in sales region. There is no difference in the toys themselves—they are all made by the same manufacturer. The only variation may be different certification labels due to varying regulations in each region. Everything else is identical. The mainland version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.

Head:Typical bear head: ears even in size (unlike Qee's asymmetrical ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank face), 360° rotating neck joint

Arms:100% jointed: poseable shoulders, pincer-style hands with no fingers, poseable wrists—key distinguishing feature from other bear brands like Popobe

Legs:Legs can rotate freely in all directions at the upper thigh. Front of foot slightly extended with two round holes on each foot. Flat sole with one round hole per foot. Cube-shaped legs. Version information typically on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:By design, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (pull them off with force—hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended. Frequent disassembly loosens the connection points over time, eventually leading to 'habitual separation' where parts become wobbly and unstable without the internal structure.
400%, 1000% special note:These two sizes of Bearbrick are identical in shape, just larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate within the front-back plane and cannot move sideways. This is because the larger size uses an internal gear design, unlike the 100% which is simply assembled from modules. These two sizes are also non-disassemblable—never force them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and body resemble those of a brick figure, because Bearbrick adopts the Kub rick sculpt. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's brick figure toys, and Medicom designed Bearbrick based on this concept.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom's strategic approach. By merging street culture, film, and trend elements into Bearbrick through cross-brand collaborations, they created a fresh form of art. 2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
