Bearbrick is the iconic collectible toy produced by Japanese company Medicom. First launched in August 2001, the series reached its 18 th generation by 2009. PPW serves as the Mainland China distributor.

About Bearbrick:
Style:Each Bearbrick series includes base models such as BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL
BASIC base model:Each edition introduces one color as its signature shade. A single polished bead adorns the chest, along with nine letters that together spell B-E-A-R-B-R-I-C-K.
JELLYBEAN Transparent:Each generation features transparent colors. Primarily transparent, with varying color releases.
PATTERN:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG Pattern:Each generation features a core signature series.
HORROR (horror style):Terrifying anime characters across every generation.
CUTE (cute style):Each collection features a cute design, most often by a female designer.
ANIMAL Animal Edition:Each collection includes an animal-inspired design—not necessarily a real animal. The iconic Hello Kitty from the 18 series is one example.

Size:Six sizes: 3.5 cm (50%), 5 cm (70%), 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), and 70 cm (1000%)
Specs:Each collection includes a birth certificate for every bear, plus one or more limited-edition and hidden-edition designs to enhance the collectible experience.
Material:Bearbrick's primary materials are ABS and PVC, with some limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked material.

Version:Collectors often refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," but these labels only indicate the point of sale. The toys themselves are identical, all produced by the same manufacturer. Differences in local regulations may result in different certification labels, but the products are otherwise the same. Mainland China versions are identical to Japanese versions.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Defining bear-head characteristics: both ears equal in size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), cheeks and lips slightly rounded, nose as a small rounded bump, no mouth or eyes on blank body, head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:100% version features fully rotatable shoulders; claw-shaped hands with no fingers; hands rotate freely at the wrists—distinguishing this from other bear collectibles like Popobe.
Waist:Full 360° rotation with slightly extended hips.
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the upper-thigh joint. The tops of the feet slightly extend forward, each with two round holes. Soles are flat with a circular hole in each. Legs are cubic in shape. The back of the legs typically bears version information.
Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of a Bearbrick can all be separated from the torso (just pull them off with force; the hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended—frequent separation loosens the connection points, eventually causing them to become "habitually detached," leaving the figure wobbly and unstable.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes are identical in shape—the only difference is that they are larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate forward and backward in a single plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to the internal gear mechanism required for the larger size, unlike the 100% which is simply modular assembly. Naturally, neither of these sizes can be disassembled—do not apply force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble a block figure because Bearbrick is derived from the Kubrick design. Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, and Medicom subsequently created Bearbrick based on this.
Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity comes not only from its innovative design and meticulous paintwork, but also from Medicom Toy's strategic approach. By merging street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick, the brand created entirely new art pieces. Collaborations with global artists, designers, and brands produced limited and special editions, often paired with streetwear labels. This drove overnight queue-waiting frenzies and soaring resale prices, making later acquisition a costly endeavor for collectors.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
