积木熊 BE@RBRICK 招财猫 GID 2 400%

Bearbrick, widely known as the building block bear, is a toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. It was officially launched in August 2001, and by 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. In mainland China, it is distributed by PPW.
Also known as: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Brick Bear, Versatile Brick.

Bearbrick Overview:

Style:Each generation of Bearbrick features base models, including BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC (Base Model):Each generation releases one color as its signature shade. It features a glossy bead on the chest, plus nine letters that together spell out B E A R B R I C K.

JELLYBEAN (Transparent Model):Each generation features transparent colors with varying hues.

PATTERN:Each generation introduces distinct patterns, prints, or special motifs.

FLAG:Each generation features a basic national flag series.

HORROR styles:Anime characters that are terrifying in every generation.

CUTE styles:Each generation features a cute design, most often created by female designers.

ANIMAL collection:Each generation includes an animal-themed design. They aren't necessarily real animals—the Series 18 features the famous Hello Kitty.

SF Sci-Fi collection:Features a well-known sci-fi icon as its motif.

ARTIST Edition:Collaborative designs by renowned artists, produced in very limited quantities (2 per generation).

Each generation also includes a varying number of hidden variants. Their designs are not officially disclosed—left for collectors to discover.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK 招财猫 GID 2 400%
Size:6 sizes: 3.5 cm 50%, 5 cm 70%, 7 cm 100%, 14.5 cm 200%, 28 cm 400%, 70 cm 1000%

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate for every bear, with one or several limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:The main materials for Bearbrick are ABS and PVC, with some limited editions also featuring metal, wood, or flocked finishes.

Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced abroad.

Versions:When collectors refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," these terms simply indicate the region of sale. The toys themselves are identical—manufactured by the same factory. The only potential difference is certification labels, which vary by region due to different legal requirements. Everything else is exactly the same. The mainland China version is identical to the Japanese version.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Typical bear-head design with ears of equal size (unlike Qee's asymmetrical ears). Slightly rounded cheek/lip area with a small rounded nose protrusion. No mouth or eyes (blank sculpt). Head rotates 360° at the neck joint.

Body:Rounded belly, straight back

Arms:100% style features arms that rotate freely at the shoulders; pincer-shaped hands with no fingers, and hands that rotate freely at the wrists (the defining feature that sets it apart from popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:Rotates 360°; hips slightly extended downward.

Legs:Rotate freely in all directions at the thigh root. Instep extends slightly forward with two circular holes on each foot. Sole is flat with one circular hole. Legs have a cubic shape. Version info typically on the back of the leg.

Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (simply pull with force; the hands cannot be separated). However, this is not recommended for play—repeated disassembly loosens the connectors, eventually leading to habitual separation where the figure loses its structural integrity, becoming loose and wobbly.

Special Note for 400% and 1000%:These two sizes are identical in design, just larger. Their arms and legs rotate only forward and backward within the same plane, with no lateral movement. This is because their larger size requires internal gear mechanisms, unlike the 100% which uses simple snap-together modules. Additionally, these sizes cannot be disassembled—never use force.

Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and torso resemble a blocky figure because it adopts the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's blocky figures, which Medicom later adapted to create Bearbrick.

Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems not only from its innovative design and meticulous painting but also from Medicom's strategic positioning. By merging streetwear, pop culture, and film with Bearbrick, they created an entirely new art form. Collaborations with artists, designers, and brands worldwide have produced limited and special editions. Partnerships with fashion labels for bundle sales often trigger overnight queues. Prices have climbed steadily, and acquiring them now demands a significant investment.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
