Bearbrick, also widely known as the building-block bear, is a toy produced by Japan's Medicom. Officially launched in August 2001, the 18 th generation had arrived by 2009. Mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Building Block Bear, Brick Rick, Versatile Brick Rick.

Style:Each Be@rbrick generation features base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC base model:Each generation releases one signature color. It features a shiny bead on its chest and 9 letters that spell B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Crystal:Each generation features transparent colors. While transparency is the focus, they release varying hues.
PATTERN Print:Each generation showcases different patterns, prints, or special designs.
FLAG: National Flag CollectionEach generation features a core national flag design.
HORROR: Horror SeriesIconic anime horror characters from every generation.
CUTE Cute style:Each generation features one cute design, most often created by female designers.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, flocking, and other materials.

Version:When players mention "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," they are referring only to the sale region. The toys themselves are identical—produced by the same factory. Any differences come solely from local regulations that may require different certification labels. Everything else is the same. The mainland China version available is identical to the Japanese version.

Head:Classic bear-head design with equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's asymmetric ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank base), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Abdomen protrudes, back straight
Arms:All styles feature fully rotatable shoulders; claw-shaped hands with no fingers; hands fully rotatable at wrists (key feature distinguishing this from popobe and other teddy bears)
Waist:Rotates 360° freely; hips slightly extend downward.
Legs:Rotate freely in all directions at the thigh joint. Instep slightly extends forward with two round holes on each instep. Soles are flat with one round hole on each sole. Cuboid leg shape. Version info typically on leg back.
Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of Bearbrick can be detached from the torso (just pull hard to separate). The hands cannot be removed. However, frequent disassembly is not recommended—after many separations, the joints become loose, eventually leading to a 'habitual separation' issue where parts hang loosely and wobble around.
400% and 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes share the same Bearbrick design, just in a larger scale. However, their arms and legs rotate only within the forward-backward plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to an internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which uses simple snap-fit construction. Neither size is disassemblable—do not use force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble block figures because it adopts the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, which Medicom used as the basis for Bearbrick.
Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous finishing, but also from Medicom Toy's strategic approach. By cross-collaborating street culture, fashion elements, and film with Bearbrick, the brand created entirely new works of art. Partnerships with global artists, designers, and popular brands yielded limited and special editions, often bundled with streetwear labels. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
