Bearbrick, widely known as the building-block bear toy, is a collectible produced by Japan's Medicom. First released in August 2001, the 18 th generation had arrived by 2009. Mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.

Bearbrick: Basic Introduction
ModelsEach Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL
BASIC (Base Model):Each generation releases one color as its signature shade. A single bead adorns the chest, along with 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Clear Series:Each generation features translucent colors. While transparency is the main focus, various hues are also introduced.
PATTERNEach generation features different patterns, prints, or special designs.
FLAG Country-Flag Series:Each generation includes a foundational country-flag series.
HORROR scary style:Anime characters that are terrifying in every generation.
CUTE cute style:Each generation features one charming design, most often created by female designers.
ANIMAL animal style:Each generation has a design featuring animal elements. They don't have to be real animals, of course. Series 18 features the iconic Hello Kitty.
SF Sci-Fi style:Choose a well-known sci-fi character as the design element.
ARTIST collaboration model:Specially designed pieces by renowned artists, very limited. (2 pieces per generation)
Each generation also features a varying number of hidden designs, which are not officially announced—players must discover them on their own.
Size:Six sizes available: 3.5 cm (50%), 5 cm (70%), 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), 70 cm (1000%)
Dimensions:Each generation includes a birth card for every Bearbrick, with special limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collecting experience.
Materials:Bearbrick is primarily made from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, flocking, and other materials.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced overseas.
Versions:Versions commonly referred to by collectors as 'Japanese version' or 'Hong Kong version' simply indicate different markets of sale—there is no difference in the actual product. All are manufactured by the same factory. Due to varying regulations in different markets, different certification labels may be applied. Otherwise, they are identical. Mainland versions available are exactly the same as Japanese ones.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head features: both ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's asymmetric ears), slightly puffed cheek and lip area, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank face), 360° swivel at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:The 100% version features fully rotatable shoulders, claw-shaped hands without fingers, and hands that rotate freely at the wrists (the key distinguishing feature from popobe and other teddy bears)

Disassembly:从原理上，Bearbrick 的头、胳膊、腿都可与躯干分离(用蛮力拽下来就成，手不可分离)。但不建议这样玩，分离多了之后连接部会变松，以后就成了“习惯性分离”了，没了 BONE，松松垮垮，晃来晃去。
400%，1000%特别说明：这两个规格的 Bearbrick 形体上没有区别，就是更大个了。但是他们的胳膊和腿只能做前后的平面内转动，不可向两侧活动。这是由于体积比较大，内部为齿轮设计。不像 100%只是模块的组装。当然，这两个规格也不可拆卸，千万不要使用蛮力。。。
祖籍：Bearbrick 的手脚和身体类似积木人，这是因为 Bearbrick 沿用了 Kubrick 的造型。Kubrick 这词最早源于乐高(LEGO)玩具的积木人，Medicom 公司在此基础上设计了 Bearbrick。

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.
If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
