积木熊 BE@RBRICK JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT #6 100% & 400%

Bearbrick, also known as Building Block Bear, is a toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. It was officially launched in August 2001, and by 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. The mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Building Block Bear, Brick Bear, Versatile Brick Bear.

About BE@RBRICK:

Style:Each Bearbrick series features base model types: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC Base Model:Each series launches one color as its signature shade, featuring a shiny bead on the chest and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K when collected.

JELLYBEAN Clear:Each generation features translucent colorways. While translucent remains the core style, various colors are released.

PATTERN:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special designs.

FLAG series:Each generation features a basic Flag series.

HORROR:Anime characters with a horror aesthetic across generations.

CUTE:Each generation features a cute design, most often created by a female designer.

ANIMAL:Each generation includes a design featuring animal elements—not necessarily real animals. The Series 18 features the iconic Hello Kitty.

SF (Science Fiction):Featuring an iconic sci-fi character.

ARTIST editions:Designed by renowned artists, extremely limited quantities. (2 per series)

Each series also includes a varying number of hidden editions whose designs are never officially revealed—only discovered by collectors.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT #6 100% & 400%
Size:Six sizes: 3.5 cm (50%), 5 cm (70%), 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), 70 cm (1000%)

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate card for every bear, along with one or more limited-edition or hidden edition releases to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, flocked fabric, and other materials.

Place of Origin:Most Bearbrick figures are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced abroad.

Version:When collectors refer to 'JP version' or 'HK version,' they are simply describing the region of sale—there is no difference in the product itself. All versions are manufactured by the same factory. The only variation may be additional certification labels required by local regulations. The mainland China version is identical to the Japanese version.

Physical Details:

Head:Typical bear head: equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose bump, no mouth or eyes (blank face), 360° rotating neck

Torso:Belly protrudes, back straight

Arms:100% version features poseable shoulders, claw-shaped hands with no separate fingers, and poseable wrists at the wrists—a key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear figures
Waist:Full 360° rotation, buttocks slightly lower.

Legs:Legs rotate 360° at the thigh joint. The top of the foot extends slightly forward with two circular holes on each foot. The sole is flat with one circular hole per foot. The leg is cube-shaped. Version information is typically found on the back of the leg.

Disassembly:By design, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs are detachable from the torso (pulling with force will separate them; the hands are not detachable). However, this is not recommended—repeated disassembly loosens the joints, eventually leading to chronic separation where parts become wobbly and unsteady.

400%, 1000% Special Notes:The 400% and 1000% Bearbrick share the same sculpt—no difference in body shape, just larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate forward and backward in a single plane; they cannot pivot sideways. This is due to the gear mechanism inside, unlike the 100% which is simply snap-together modular parts. Neither of these sizes is disassemblable—do not force them apart.

Origin:Bearbrick's blocky limbs and torso draw from the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's modular figures, which Medicom later adapted to create Bearbrick.

Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems not only from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom Company's strategic approach. By crossing over with street culture, movies, and fashion elements, Bearbrick has evolved into an entirely new form of art. Collaborations with artists, designers, and brands worldwide have produced limited and special editions, often paired with fashion labels. The frenzy these releases generate—overnight queues and all—has driven prices up, making future collectibility a costly pursuit.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
