Version:What collectors refer to as 'Japanese version,' 'Hong Kong version,' etc. are simply regional selling points—there is no difference in the toys themselves. All are produced by the same manufacturer. The only variations may be different certification labels required by local regulations. Everything else is identical. The mainland version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head shape with both ears the same size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and lips, a small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank face), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Belly rounded, back straight
Arms:100% model features free rotation at the shoulder; claw-shaped, fingerless hands; free rotation at the wrist (key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:360° full rotation with slightly extended hips.
Legs:Can rotate freely in all directions at the hip joint. Slight forward extension on the foot, each featuring two round holes. Flat sole with one round hole on each foot. Cube-shaped leg. Version info typically on back of leg.
Disassembly:By design, the head, arms, and legs of a Bearbrick are detachable from the torso (they can be pulled off with force—only the hands are fixed). However, frequent disassembly is not recommended, as the joints will loosen over time, eventually resulting in a permanent loose fit where parts dangle.
Special note for 400% and 1000%:These two sizes share the same body shape, just larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate forward and backward in a flat plane and cannot move side to side. This is due to the internal gear mechanism in the larger size, unlike the 100% which is simply modular assembly. Neither of these two sizes can be disassembled—do not use force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body follow a block-figure design, borrowed from Kubrick. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, which Medicom Toy adapted to create Bearbrick.
Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity comes from its innovative design, meticulous painting, and Medicom's strategic positioning. By blending street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick through cross-industry collaborations, the brand created a new form of collectible art. Partnerships with global artists, designers, and popular brands produced limited and special editions, often bundled with streetwear labels. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
