Bearbrick (be@rbrick) is the iconic Medicom building-block bear toy, officially launched in August 2001, with the 18 th generation released by 2009. Mainland China is distributed by PPW.

Style:Each Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC:Each iteration features a signature color. A bright bead sits on its chest, followed by 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN translucent style:Each generation releases a translucent colorway, primarily translucent but in varying hues.
PATTERN:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special designs.
FLAG:A core national flag theme in every generation.
HORROR:Terrifying anime characters in every collection.
CUTE style:Each generation features one adorable design, most often created by female designers.
ANIMAL style:Each generation includes an animal-themed design. They don't necessarily have to depict real animals—the iconic Hello Kitty is featured in the 18 series.
SF Sci-Fi Style:Features a well-known sci-fi character or motif as its core element.
ARTIST Edition:Specially designed by renowned artists, with very limited quantities. (2 pieces per generation)
Additionally, each generation includes hidden editions in varying quantities. The designs of these hidden editions are never officially disclosed—only discoverable by collectors.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made from ABS and PVC, with a small number of limited editions also crafted from metal, wood, flocking, and other materials.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced abroad.
Version:Players often refer to 'Japanese version' or 'Hong Kong version,' but these are simply regional sales distinctions. The toys themselves are identical—manufactured by the same factory. Differences, if any, are limited to varying certification labels required by local regulations. The Mainland China version is identical to the Japanese version.
Body Shape Characteristics:
Head:Typical bear-head features: same-sized ears (unlike Qee's uneven ears), slightly puffed cheeks and lips, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Stomach bulging, back straight
Arms:100% version: Arms rotate at the shoulders; pincer-style fingerless hands; hands rotate at the wrists (key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear figures).
Waist:Full 360° articulation with slightly extended hips
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the upper thigh. Instep slightly forward with two circular holes on each foot. Flat sole with one circular hole per foot. Cube-shaped leg form. Version info typically appears on the back of the legs.
Disassembly:By design, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (pull hard enough and they'll come off; hands are non-removable). However, frequent disassembly is not recommended—repeated separation loosens the joints, eventually leading to a "permanent loose-fit" where the parts dangle loosely without structure.
400%, 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes share the same silhouette—only the scale differs. Limbs move only front-to-back on a single plane, not side to side, due to internal gear mechanisms (unlike the 100% which uses modular assembly). Neither size is meant to be disassembled—do not force it.
Origin:Bearbrick shares the blocky proportions of its limbs and body with Kubrick, the design it originated from. Kubrick traces back to LEGO's block figures; Medicom adapted the concept to create Bearbrick.
Overview:Bearbrick's nationwide popularity stems from more than its innovative design and meticulous painting—it is the result of Medicom's strategic positioning. By crossing over with street culture, fashion elements, and film, Bearbrick became a unique art form. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
