Bearbrick, the beloved brick bear produced by Japan's MediumICOM Toy, officially launched in August 2001; by 2009, the 18 th generation had arrived. Mainland distribution handled by PPW.

Bearbrick basic introduction:
Style:Each Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC:Each iteration features a signature color. A bead decorates the chest, alongside 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Transparent:Each generation features transparent colors. While transparency is the main focus, varying hues are introduced.
PATTERN:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG Country Flag Version:Each edition includes a basic flag series.
HORROR:Anime characters that are terrifying in every generation.
CUTE:Each generation features one adorable design, most created by female designers.
ANIMAL:Each generation features a design with an animal motif—not necessarily a real animal. The iconic Hello Kitty is from the 18 series.
SF Sci-Fi Collection:Features a recognizable sci-fi character as the design motif.
ARTIST Collection:Special artist-collaboration designs by renowned creators, extremely limited quantities. (2 per series)
Each series also features hidden editions in varying numbers—designs never officially revealed, discovered only by collectors.

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate card for every bear, along with one or several limited-edition or hidden-variant releases to enhance the fun of collecting.
Material:Bearbrick toys are primarily made from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, flocking, or other materials.
Origin:Most Bearbrick pieces are manufactured in mainland China, while a limited number of special editions are produced overseas.
Versions:Regional versions like "Japan version" or "Hong Kong version" simply refer to the sales location. There is no difference in the toy itself— all are made by the same manufacturer. Variations may occur only in certification labels due to local regulations. Everything else is identical, meaning mainland versions are exactly the same as Japanese ones.
Body characteristics:
Head:Classic bearbrick head features: symmetrical ears (unlike Qee's uneven sizes), slightly puffed cheeks and lips, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (naked body), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:100% model: arms rotate freely at the shoulder; hands are claw-shaped with no fingers and rotate freely at the wrist (key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:Can rotate 360° freely; hips extend slightly downward.
Legs:Legs can rotate freely in any direction at the upper thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward with two round holes. The sole is flat with a circular hole in each sole. The leg has a cubic silhouette. Version information is typically found on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso by pulling firmly. Hands cannot be removed. However, this is not recommended—repeated disassembly loosens the connection points over time, leading to "habitual separation." Without secure joints, parts become loose and wobbly.
400%, 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes share the same body shape—simply scaled up. However, the arms and legs can only rotate forward and backward within a single plane, unable to move side to side. This is due to the internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which is assembled from modular parts. Additionally, these two sizes cannot be disassembled—do not apply excessive force.
Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and body resemble a building-block figure because Bearbrick adopted the Kubrcik design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO building-block figures, upon which Medicom designed Bearbrick.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
