积木熊 BE@RBRICK 宫城道空手道 400%

Bearbrick, also known as the bearbrick, is a collectible toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. Launched in August 2001, the 18 th generation arrived by 2009. Distribution in mainland China is handled by PPW.
Nickname: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB; Chinese names: Building Block Bear, Brick Bear, Versatile Brick Bear.

Bearbrick: Basic Overview

Style:Each generation of Bearbrick includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC Base model:Each generation also releases a signature color—featured with a bright bead on the chest and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K when collected.

JELLYBEAN Clear style:Each generation features transparent colors as the base, with new color releases.

PATTERN collection:Each generation has different prints or special patterns.

FLAG collection:Each generation features a basic flag-inspired series.

HORROR Collection:Horrifying anime characters across every generation.

CUTE Collection:Each generation features a cute design, most created by female designers.

ANIMAL:Each generation features one animal-themed design—though not necessarily a real animal. Series 18 showcases the iconic Hello Kitty.

SF Sci-Fi:Features a well-known sci-fi character as its motif.

ARTIST Series:Exclusive designs by invited renowned artists, produced in very limited quantities (two per generation).

Each generation also includes a varying number of hidden designs that are never officially revealed—only discovered by collectors.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK 宫城道空手道 400%
Size:Six sizes available: 3.5 cm (50%), 5 cm (70%), 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), and 70 cm (1000%).

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate for every bear, with limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick's primary materials are ABS and PVC, with select limited editions featuring metal, wood, or flocking finishes.

Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with select limited editions produced overseas.

Version:The so-called 'Japanese version' and 'Hong Kong version' are simply distinguished by their selling regions—there is no actual difference in the toy itself. All are produced by the same manufacturer. The only variation may be different certification labels required by local regulations. The mainland version is otherwise identical to the Japanese version.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Typical bear head features: ears of equal size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly puffed cheeks and lips, small rounded nose bump, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck

Torso:Extended midsection; straight back

Arms:The 100% model features shoulders that rotate freely, claw-shaped hands without defined fingers, and hands that rotate at the wrists—these are the key distinguishing features from other bear figures such as Popobe
Waist:Full 360° rotation. Hips slightly extended downward.

Temple:Full articulation at the thigh joint—rotates freely in all directions. Feet extend slightly forward with two round openings on each vamp. Flat soles feature a single round hole each. Legs are cube-shaped, with version details on the back.

Disassembly:In principle, Bearbrick heads, arms, and legs can all be detached from the torso (pull hard enough—hands are non-detachable). However, this is not recommended. Frequent separation loosens the joints, eventually leading to permanent floppiness—wobbly with no structural integrity.

400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes are identical in form, just larger. However, their arms and legs only rotate within a single plane—forward and backward—no side-to-side movement. This is due to the internal gear design required for the larger scale. Unlike the 100% version, these are not simple snap-together modules. Additionally, these sizes are non-separable—never use force.

Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble block figures because it adopts the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures; Medicom built upon this to create Bearbrick.

Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity comes not only from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom's strategic approach. By cross-pollinating street-culture elements, fashion trends, and film with Bearbrick, they created entirely new art forms. Collaborations with artists, designers, and popular brands worldwide yielded limited and special editions. Bundled sales with streetwear labels became common, often sparking overnight queues to secure purchases. Prices climbed accordingly, making later collection a costly endeavor.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
