Bearbrick Overview:
Style:Each Bearbrick series includes base model types: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC:Each series launches a signature color, marked with a bright bead on the chest and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Clear:Each series features a transparent colorway as the core theme, with varying hues released across generations.
PATTERN:Each generation features a different design, print, or special pattern.
FLAG:Each generation features a basic flag design.
HORROR:Terrifying anime characters across every generation.
CUTE:Each generation features a cute design, most of which are created by female designers.
ANIMAL:Each generation includes an animal-themed design. Of course, they aren't necessarily real animals—the 18 series features the iconic Hello Kitty.
SF Sci-Fi:Features a recognizable sci-fi character as its motif.
ARTIST series:Special collaboration designs by renowned artists, produced in very limited quantities (2 pieces per series).
Each generation also includes a varying number of hidden figures, which are not officially revealed—players must discover them on their own.
Size:Six size options: 100% at 7 cm, 200% at 14.5 cm, 400% at 28 cm, 1000% at 70 cm, plus 50% at 3.5 cm and 70% at 5 cm.
Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every Bearbrick, with one or several limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collecting experience.
Material:Bearbrick primarily uses ABS and PVC, with select limited editions featuring metal, wood, or flocked finishes.
Origin:Most are produced in mainland China, with a small number of limited-edition pieces made abroad.
Versions:What collectors often refer to as 'Japanese version,' 'Hong Kong version,' etc., are simply distinctions based on sales region. There is no difference in the toys themselves—all are produced by the same manufacturer. The only variation may be different certification labels due to varying regulations in different sales regions. Everything else is exactly the same. The mainland version available is identical to the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head features: ears of equal size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (bare body), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:100% of styles feature arms that rotate freely at the shoulder; hands are claw-shaped, fingerless, and rotate freely at the wrist (the key distinguishing feature from other bear cub toys such as Popobe).
Waist:Rotates 360° freely; hips are slightly extended downward.
Legs:Thigh rotates freely in all directions at the hip. Tops of the feet extend slightly forward with two circular openings each. Soles are flat with a center hole. Legs maintain a blocky, cubic silhouette. Version info is typically found on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of Bearbrick are separable from the torso (pull off with force—hands cannot be removed). Frequent disassembly is not recommended, as the connection points will loosen over time, leading to persistent looseness and wobbling.
400%, 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes are identical in shape—just scaled up. However, their arms and legs can only rotate within a single plane (forward and backward) and cannot move sideways. This is due to their larger size requiring internal gear mechanisms, unlike the 100% which uses simple modular assembly. Additionally, neither size is disassemblable—do not attempt to force them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and body resemble modular figures because Bearbrick is built on the Kubrick design. The Kubrick name originated from LEGO's modular figures, and Medicom adapted this concept to create Bearbrick.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from both its innovative design and meticulous paintwork, and from Medicom Toy's strategic approach. By crossing over street culture, fashion, and film with Bearbrick, the brand created entirely new art forms. Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
