Each generation also features a varying number of hidden variants whose designs are never officially disclosed—left for collectors to discover on their own.

BE@RBRICK 1000% Bird
Size:Six sizes available: 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), 70 cm (1000%), plus 3.5 cm (50%) and 5 cm (70%)

Specifications:Each series includes a birth card for every Bearbrick, along with limited-edition and hidden variants to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked materials.

Origin:Most are produced in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions made abroad.

Version:Players often refer to 'Japan version,' 'Hong Kong version,' etc., but these only indicate the market of sale—no difference in the product itself. All are made by the same manufacturer. Different markets may require different certification labels due to varying regulations, but the products are otherwise identical. The mainland version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.

Physical details:

Head:Typical bear-head features: both ears equal in size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small round nose protrusion, blank face with no mouth or eyes; head rotates 360° at the neck

Torso:Rounded belly, straight back

Arms:100% model allows full rotation at the shoulders; claw-shaped hands with no fingers; hands rotate freely at the wrists (the defining feature that sets it apart from Popobe and other bear figures)
Waist:Rotates 360° freely; hips slightly extended downward.

Legs:Freely articulated at the upper thighs, rotating in all directions. Top of foot extends slightly forward with two round holes on each foot. Flat sole with one round hole per foot. Cube-shaped leg form. Version information typically found on the back of the leg.

Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of a Bearbrick can be separated from the torso (just pull firmly). The hands cannot be removed. However, this is not recommended—repeated disassembly loosens the connection points, eventually causing them to separate habitually, leaving the figure floppy and wobbly.

400% and 1000%: Special notes:These two sizes are identical in shape to the larger Bearbrick—just bigger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate in a single plane (forward and backward); they cannot swing sideways. This is due to their larger size, which uses an internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100%, which is simply a modular assembly. Do not attempt to disassemble either of these sizes—never use force.

Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and torso follow a block-figure design, derived from the Kubrick aesthetic. The Kubrick name traces back to LEGO minifigures; Medicom adapted this for Bearbrick.

Personality:What made Bearbrick a nationwide phenomenon, beyond its innovative design and meticulous painting, is that Medicom found the perfect entry point—crossing over street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick to create entirely new art pieces. Partnerships with global artists, designers, and brands led to limited and special editions. Bundled sales with streetwear labels triggered overnight queues. Prices climbed accordingly, and collecting now demands a significant investment.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
