Bearbrick is the well-known Building Block Bear, a toy produced by Japanese company Medicom, officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. Distributed in mainland China by PPW.

Styles:Each Bearbrick series includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC:Each series releases a signature color. A glossy bead is featured on the chest, along with 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K when collected.
JELLYBEAN (transparent):Each generation features transparent colors. While transparent remains the focus, different colorways are introduced.
PATTERN:Each generation showcases different patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG:Each generation features a basic flag colorway.
HORROR style:Terrifying anime characters from every era.
CUTE style:Each series selects one cute design, most often created by female designers.
ANIMAL Animal Style:Each series includes one animal-themed design—not necessarily a real animal. Series 18 features the iconic Hello Kitty.

Version:When collectors refer to 'Japanese version' or 'Hong Kong version,' they are simply indicating the point of sale—there is no actual difference in the toy itself. All versions are produced by the same manufacturer. Depending on the market and applicable regulations, different certification labels may be affixed, but everything else is identical. The mainland version available for purchase is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical specifications:
Head:Typical bear-head features: symmetrical ears (unlike Qee's mismatched sizes), slightly rounded cheek area, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank style), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Belly protrudes, back straight
Arms:100% model features fully rotatable shoulders, claw-shaped hands with no fingers, and hands rotatable at the wrists (the key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:360° free rotation, slightly extended buttocks.
Legs:Can rotate freely 360° at the thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward, with two round holes on each foot. The sole is flat with one round hole in the center. The leg is cuboid-shaped. Version information is typically printed on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:Fundamentally, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can all be separated from the torso—simply pull with force to detach (hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended. Repeated separation loosens the connection points, eventually leading to 'habitual separation,' where the joints become slack and wobbly.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same Bearbrick form, just in a larger scale. However, their arms and legs can only rotate within a single plane, forward and backward, with no side-to-side movement. This is because the larger sizes feature internal gear mechanisms, unlike the 100% version which uses simple modular assembly. Neither of these sizes is designed for disassembly—do not use force.
Place of Origin:Bearbrick's blocky limbs and torso trace back to Kubrik design, which originated from LEGO building-block figures that Medicom adapted into Bearbrick.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity comes from its innovative design and meticulous paint application, but also from Medicom finding the perfect niche. By merging street-culture aesthetics, fashion trends, and film elements into Bearbrick, they created an entirely new art form. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
