积木熊 BE@RBRICK 施罗德 1000%

Bearbrick, also known as Be@rbrick, is a toy produced by Japan's Medicom. It officially launched in August 2001, and by 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. It is distributed in mainland China by PPW.
Also known as: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Building Block Bear, Brickie Bear, Versatile Brickie

Bearbrick — Basic Overview

Style:Each Bearbrick generation features base models including BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL
BASIC:Each generation releases one color as its signature shade. It features a single bead on the chest, followed by 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.

JELLYBEAN translucent:Each generation features a translucent colorway. The translucent finish remains consistent, while the actual colors vary.

PATTERN pattern style:Each generation features different patterns, prints, or special motifs.

FLAG flag style:Each generation includes a basic flag series.

HORROR Scary style:Terrifying anime imagery from every generation.

CUTE Cute style:A cute design selected from each generation, most created by female designers.

ANIMAL:Each collection features an animal-themed design. They don't have to be real animals—the iconic Hello Kitty in the 18 series is a perfect example.

SF (Sci-Fi):Features a well-known sci-fi character as the main motif.

ARTIST:Specially designed by renowned artists, very limited quantity. (2 per generation)

Each generation also includes hidden editions of varying quantities. Officially unrevealed, these can only be discovered by collectors.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK 施罗德 1000%
Size:Six sizes: 3.5 cm (50%), 5 cm (70%), 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), and 70 cm (1000%)

Specifications:Each series includes a birth card for every Bearbrick, plus limited and hidden editions to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked materials.

Place of origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced abroad.

Version:Players often refer to "Japan version" or "Hong Kong version," but these simply indicate the region of sale. The toys themselves are identical—produced by the same manufacturer. Differences are limited to certification labels required by local regulations. Mainland China versions are identical to Japanese ones.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Typical bear-head features: ears equal in size (unlike Qee's asymmetrical ears), slightly puffed cheek/mouth area, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck.

Torso:Belly protrudes, back straight.

Arms:100% model features full shoulder rotation, claw-shaped hands with no fingers, and full wrist rotation (main distinguishing feature from Popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:Full 360° rotation with slightly extended hips.

Legs:Legs rotate 360° at the thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward with two round holes. The sole is flat with a round hole on each foot. Legs have a cubic silhouette. Version information typically appears on the back of the legs.

Disassembly:In principle, BE@RBRICK heads, arms, and legs can be separated from the torso (pull off with force; hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended—frequent separation loosens the connection points, eventually leading to "habitual separation" where joints become bone-free, loose, and wobbly.

400%, 1000% Special Notes:These two sizes of Bearbrick are identical in shape—the only difference is that they're bigger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate front-to-back within a single plane and cannot move side-to-side. This is because, at this size, the internal mechanism uses gears rather than the simple modular assembly of the 100% version. That said, neither of these sizes can be disassembled—do not force them apart.

Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and body resemble block figures because Bearbrick adopted the Kubricks aesthetic. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's block figures, which Medicom later adapted to design Bearbrick.

Profile:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous paintwork, but also from Medicom's strategic approach. By merging street culture, film, and fashion elements through cross-category collaborations, Bearbrick has become a new form of art. Partnerships with global artists, designers, and leading brands have produced limited and special editions, often paired with streetwear collections. These drops regularly trigger overnight queues and sellouts. As a result, prices have climbed steadily, and acquiring sought-after pieces for a collection now requires significant investment.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
