积木熊 BE@RBRICK OSCAR THE GROUCH Costume Ver. 400%《计划 September 2023 下旬发货/订购截止至 3 月 10 日》

Bearbrick, widely known as the Brick Bear, is a toy produced by Japan’s MediumICOM company. It launched in August 2001, and the 18 th generation was released by 2009. PPW is the mainland China distributor.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Brick Bear, Be@rbrick Bear, and Versatile Be@rbrick.

Bearbrick Basic Introduction:

Styles:Each generation of Bearbrick includes BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL
BASIC base model:Each generation features one signature color, a shiny bead on the chest, and 9 letters that spell BEARBRICK.

JELLYBEAN transparent model:Each generation features a transparent colorway, with transparent as the main color complemented by different accents.

PATTERN design:Each generation features a different pattern, print, or special design.

FLAG design:Each generation features a basic national flag series.

HORROR style:Scary anime designs for every generation.

CUTE style:Each generation features a cute design, mostly created by female designers.

ANIMAL:Every generation includes an animal-inspired design, though it may not be a real animal. Series 18 features the iconic Hello Kitty.

SF sci-fi style:Features a well-known science-fiction character.

Each generation also includes a varying number of hidden designs that are not officially revealed and must be discovered by players.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK OSCAR THE GROUCH Costume Ver. 400%《计划 September 2023 下旬发货/订购截止至 3 月 10 日》
Size:Six different sizes: 7 cm/100%, 14.5 cm/200%, 28 cm/400%, 70 cm/1000%, 3.5 cm/50%, and 5 cm/70%.

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every bear, along with one or more limited-edition or hidden figures to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick is mainly made of ABS and PVC, while some limited editions use metal, wood, flocking, or other materials.

Origin:Most are produced in mainland China, while some limited editions are produced overseas.

Version:Terms such as "Japanese version" and "Hong Kong version" commonly used by collectors simply refer to the sales region. There is no difference in the toys themselves: all are produced by the same manufacturer. However, different regional laws may require different certification labels. Otherwise, they are exactly the same, and the mainland China version is identical to the Japanese version.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Typical bear head with equal-sized ears (unlike Qee’s oversized ears), slightly puffed cheeks, a small rounded muzzle, and no mouth or eyes (blank). The head rotates 360° around the neck.

Body:Rounded belly with a straight back

Arms:The 100% version features freely rotating shoulders, pincer-shaped, fingerless hands, and freely rotating wrists (its key distinction from other bear figures such as popobe).
Waist:Rotates freely 360°, with the hips extending slightly downward.

Legs:The legs can rotate freely in any direction around the upper thigh. The feet extend slightly forward, with two circular holes on the top of each foot. The soles are flat, with one circular hole in each sole. The legs have a cuboid shape, and the back of each leg usually features version information.

Disassembly:In principle, a BE@RBRICK’s head, arms, and legs can all be detached from the torso by pulling them off forcefully, but the hands cannot be removed. However, frequent disassembly is not recommended because the joints may loosen over time and become habitually detached, leaving the figure unsupported, loose, and unstable.

400% and 1000% special notes:There is no physical difference between the 400% and 1000% BE@RBRICK figures other than size. Their arms and legs only rotate forward and backward and cannot move sideways due to their larger size and internal gear design. Unlike the 100% modular figure, these two sizes are non-detachable, so do not use excessive force.

Place of origin:Bearbrick’s hands, feet, and body resemble a block figure because it follows the classic Kubrick design. The term “Kubrick” originated with LEGO minifigures, and Medicom Toy developed Bearbrick on this foundation.

Character:Bearbrick’s worldwide popularity comes from its distinctive design and meticulous painting, as well as Medicom Toy’s ability to identify the right cultural crossover. By combining street trends, street culture, and film with Bearbrick, Medicom created an entirely new art form. Collaborations with artists, designers, and popular brands worldwide have produced limited-edition and special-edition releases. Bearbrick has also been sold alongside select streetwear brands, often prompting overnight queues and causing prices to soar. Future collectors may therefore face substantial costs.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
