Bearbrick, also known as the Bricks Bear, is a toy line produced by Japanese company MediumICOM, officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. Distributed in mainland China by PPW.

Version:When collectors refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," they simply mean where the toy was sold—there is no actual difference in the product itself. All are made by the same manufacturer. The only variation may be different certification labels required by local regulations. The mainland version is identical to the Japanese version.

Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the thigh joint. The tops of the feet extend slightly forward, each with two round holes. The soles are flat with a circular hole on each. The legs are cube-shaped. Version information is typically found on the back of the legs.
Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can all be separated from the torso (just pull hard enough; the hands are not separable). However, this is not recommended for play. Frequent disassembly loosens the connection points, eventually leading to loose, wobbly parts with no structural integrity.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same silhouette; the only difference is the larger scale. However, their arms and legs only pivot forward and backward in a single plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to the internal gear mechanism required for the bigger size—unlike the 100%, which is simply a snap-together modular build. Additionally, neither of these sizes is meant to be disassembled. Do not use force to take them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and torso resemble block figures because Bearbrick adopted the Kub r i c k design. The term Kub r i c k originated from LEGO block figures, and Medicom adapted this concept to create Bearbrick.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
