BE@RBRICK is the beloved block-style bear toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. Officially launched in August 2001, the 18 th generation was released by 2009. Mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.

Series:Each Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC Basic model:Each generation launches in one signature color, featuring a glossy bead on the chest and nine letters spelling out B-E-A-R-B-R-I-C-K.
JELLYBEAN Translucent model:Each generation features translucent colorways, with transparency as the defining trait across different color variations.
PATTERNEach generation features distinct patterns, prints, or special motifs.

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every bear, with one or more limited or secret editions released to enhance the collecting experience.
Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with select limited editions also featuring metal, wood, or flocked finishes.
Place of Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with select limited editions produced abroad.
Edition:Players often refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," but these only indicate the point of sale—there is no difference in the toys themselves. All are produced by the same manufacturer. The only variation may be additional certification labels required by local regulations, but otherwise the products are identical. The mainland version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head: equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's mismatched design), slightly rounded cheeks, small rounded nose bump, blank face with no mouth or eyes, head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Belly rounded, back straight
Arms:100% model: arms rotate freely at shoulders; pincer-style hands with no separate fingers; hands rotate freely at wrists (main feature distinguishing this from popobe and other bear plush toys)
Waist:360° full rotation; buttocks slightly extended downward.
Legs:The legs can rotate freely in all directions at the hip joint. The foot extends slightly forward with two circular holes on each foot. The sole is flat with one circular hole in each sole. The legs have a cube-like shape. The back of the legs typically displays version information.
Disassembly:In principle, the head, arms, and legs of Bearbrick can be separated from the torso (they can be pulled off with force, but the hands cannot be separated). However, it's not recommended to play this way—as separation is repeated, the connections will loosen. Over time, they become "habitually separated": without structural support, they go loose and wobbly.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same silhouette—just scaled up. However, their arms and legs can only pivot forward and backward within a single plane, unable to move sideways. This is due to the internal gear mechanism required for the larger size, unlike the 100% version which is purely modular assembly. Neither size is disassemblable—do not attempt to force them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and torso follow a block-figure design because Bearbrick was adapted from Kubrick. The term "Kubrick" originated from LEGO's minifigures, and Medicom built upon this concept to create Bearbrick.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous paintwork, but also because Medicom found the perfect entry point—crossing over street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick to create entirely new art pieces. Collaborations with artists, designers, and popular brands worldwide led to limited and special editions, often paired with streetwear and selling out overnight. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
