BE@RBRICK UFO 3 rd Version 400%

Bearbrick, the beloved block-figure toy produced by Japan's Medicom, officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th series had already been released. The mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Building Block Bear, Brick Bear, Versatile Brick.

Bearbrick Overview

Series:Each Bearbrick generation features base models, including BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC base model:Each generation features one signature color. A single bead sits on the chest, along with 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.

JELLYBEAN translucent model:Each generation releases a translucent colorway, centered around transparency with varying color options.

PATTERN pattern style:Each generation features different designs, prints, or special patterns.

FLAG Country Flag Series:Each generation features a basic flag series.

HORROR style:Terrifying anime character from every generation.

CUTE style:Each generation features one cute design, mostly created by female designers.

ANIMAL style:Every generation includes an animal-themed design—not necessarily a real animal. The 18 series features the iconic Hello Kitty.

SF Science Fiction style:Select a well-known sci-fi character as the motif.

ARTIST artist collaboration style:Specially designed by renowned artists, extremely limited quantities. (2 pieces per generation)

Each generation also features hidden editions in varying quantities. These designs remain officially unrevealed, left for collectors to discover.

BE@RBRICK UFO 3 rd Version 400%
Size:Six sizes available: 7 cm (100%), 14.5 cm (200%), 28 cm (400%), 70 cm (1000%), 3.5 cm (50%), and 5 cm (70%)

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate for every bear, with occasional limited or hidden editions to enhance the collecting experience.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with some limited editions featuring metal, wood, or flocked materials.

Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced abroad.

Version:The so-called 'Japanese version' or 'Hong Kong version' that collectors often mention are actually just different regions of sale. There is no difference in the toys themselves—they are all produced by the same manufacturer. Only due to different regions of sale and varying local regulations, different certification labels may be attached. Everything else is exactly the same. The mainland version available is identical to the Japanese version.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Typical bear head features: ears of equal size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and lips, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank face), head rotates 360° at the neck

Body:Rounded belly, straight back

Arms:The 100% model features arms that rotate freely at the shoulder, claw-shaped hands with no individual fingers, and hands that rotate freely at the wrist — the key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear plush toys.
Waist:Can rotate 360° freely; hips slightly extend downward.

Legs:The legs rotate freely in all directions at the thigh joint. The top of the foot extends slightly forward, with two round holes on each foot top. The sole is flat with a single round hole. The leg is cube-shaped. Version info is typically found on the back of the leg.

Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can all be detached from the torso (just pull hard — the hands are not detachable). However, frequent separation is not recommended; repeated disassembly loosens the joints, eventually leading to a permanent loose fit where the parts rattle around.

400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same Bearbrick form—just larger. However, their arms and legs rotate only in the front-to-back plane and cannot pivot sideways. This is due to their size and internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which is simply assembled from modules. Both sizes are non-disassemblable—do not force them apart.

Origin:Bearbrick's hands, feet, and body resemble a block figure because Bearbrick is based on the Kubrick design. Kubrick originated from LEGO's block figures, and Medicom developed Bearbrick on this foundation.

Character:Bearbrick's global popularity stems from more than its innovative design and meticulous painting. Medicom found the perfect entry point—fusing street culture, film, and fashion elements with Bearbrick to create entirely new art pieces. Collaborations with artists, designers, and brands worldwide produced limited and special editions. Paired with streetwear labels, these releases sparked overnight queues. Prices climbed accordingly, and collecting vintage pieces now demands a premium.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
