Bearbrick, the beloved Bearbrick, is a collectible toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. Officially launched in August 2001, the 18 th generation arrived by 2009. Distributed in mainland China by PPW.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Bearbrick, BRIK Bear, Versatile BRIK.
Bearbrick Basic Introduction:
Styles:Each Bearbrick generation includes base model types: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC (Base Model):Each generation releases one signature color. The chest features a shiny bead and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Clear:Each generation features a clear finish, available in various colorways.
Pattern:Each generation offers different patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG: Flag MotifEach generation features a core flag motif series.
HORROR: Horror MotifHorror-themed anime characters featured across generations.
CUTE:Each generation features one cute design, most often crafted by female designers.

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate for every Bearbrick, with limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collecting experience.
Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, flocked fabric, and other materials.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited-edition pieces produced overseas.
Version:Players often refer to "Japanese version," "Hong Kong version," etc., but these labels simply indicate the sales region—the toys themselves are identical. All are produced by the same manufacturer. Variations may occur only due to differing regional regulations, potentially adding different certification labels. Everything else is exactly the same. The mainland version available is identical to the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Classic bear head with equal-sized ears (distinct from Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose protrusion, blank face with no mouth or eyes, and a head that rotates 360° at the neck.
Torso:Rounded abdomen with a straight back.
Arms:The 100% version features arms that rotate freely at the shoulders with claw-shaped hands (no fingers), and hands that rotate freely at the wrists — the key distinguishing feature from other bears such as popobe.
Waist:Rotates 360° freely with a slightly extended seat.
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the upper thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward with two round holes. The sole is flat with a single round hole. Legs are cuboid-shaped, typically with version info on the back.
Disassembly:In principle, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (pull them off by force; hands cannot be removed). Frequent disassembly is not recommended—connecting parts will loosen over time, leading to a permanently loose, wobbly fit.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes are identical in form—the only difference is that they are larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate forward and backward in the same plane; they cannot swing sideways. This is due to their larger size and internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which is simply snap-together parts. As with all sizes, these two are non-disassemblable—do not force them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's block-like limbs and body stem from its Kubrick design origins. Kubrick derives from LEGO block figures, on which Medicom based Bearbrick.
Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous paintwork, but also from Medicom's strategic approach. By bridging street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick, they created an entirely new art form. Collaborations with global artists, designers, and lifestyle brands produced limited and special editions, often leading to overnight queues and sold-out releases. Prices climbed accordingly, making later acquisition a costly endeavor for collectors.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
