Bearbrick, the iconic building-block bear toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM, officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. Distributed in mainland China by PPW.

Bearbrick Overview:
Style:Each Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC basic style:Each generation also releases a signature color as its featured edition, marked with a glossy bead on the chest and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Transparent:Each generation features transparent colors as the base, with varying hues released over time.
PATTERN:Each generation showcases different patterns, including prints and special motifs.
FLAG flag model:Each generation features a core flag collection.
HORROR horror model:Iconic horror anime characters across every generation.
CUTE Style:Each generation features a cute design, most of which were created by female designers.
ANIMAL Style:Each generation has an animal-themed design. They don't necessarily have to be real animals. The 18 collection features the famous Hello Kitty.
SF Sci-Fi Style:Featuring a well-known sci-fi character as the main element.
ARTIST COLLABORATION:Specially designed by renowned artists; very limited quantity. (2 per series)
Each series also includes a varying number of hidden editions. The designs of these hidden variants are never officially disclosed—only collectors can discover them on their own.
Size:Six sizes: 7 cm 100%, 14.5 cm 200%, 28 cm 400%, 70 cm 1000%, 3.5 cm 50%, and 5 cm 70%
Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every bear, along with one or more limited or hidden editions, adding to the fun of collecting.
Material:Primarily crafted from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions featuring metal, wood, or flocked finishes.

Version:Players often refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," but these simply indicate different sales regions. The toys themselves are identical—produced by the same manufacturer. Differences may only include varying certification labels required by local regulations. Mainland China versions are otherwise identical to Japanese versions.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head: ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), slightly puffed cheek/lip area, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank vinyl), head rotates 360° at the neck
Body:Rounded belly, straight back
Arms:100% model: arms rotate freely at shoulders, claw-shaped hands with no individual fingers, hands rotate freely at wrists (the key distinguishing feature from Popobe and other vinyl bears)
Waist:Can rotate 360°, hips slightly extended downward.
Legs:Can rotate in all directions at the thigh root. The top of the foot slightly extends forward with two round holes on each foot. The sole is flat with one round hole on each foot. The leg has a cubic shape. Version information is usually on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be separated from the torso (just pull hard). The hands cannot be removed. However, this is not recommended—frequent disassembly loosens the connections, leading to a loose habit where the joints become wobbly and unstable.
Special note for 400% and 1000%:These two sizes are identical in design—just larger. Their arms and legs rotate only front-to-back within the same plane; no side-to-side movement. This is due to the internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which uses simple snap-together modules. Both sizes are non-disassemblable—do not use force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble a block figure because it adopted the Kubrick form factor. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's block figures, and Medicom built upon this to design Bearbrick.
Character:Bearbrick's popularity across the globe stems not only from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom's strategic approach—crossing over street culture, fashion elements, and films to create entirely new art pieces. Collaborating with artists, designers, and brands worldwide, Medicom releases limited and special editions, often paired with streetwear labels. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
