Bearbrick is the well-known Be@rbrick, a toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM, officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. Mainland China is distributed by PPW.

Bearbrick: Basic Introduction
Styles:Each Bearbrick series includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC Basic Model:Each generation releases one signature color. A single sparkle bead sits on its chest, along with 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Translucent Model:Each generation features a translucent colorway. Translucent styling remains consistent while different color options are released.
PATTERN style:Each generation features different designs, prints, or special patterns.
FLAG Country Flag Series:每一代都会有一个基本的国旗系。
HORROR Horror Series:A frightening animated character across every generation.
CUTE:Each generation features a cute design, most created by female designers.
ANIMAL:Every generation features an animal-inspired design—not necessarily a real animal though. The iconic Hello Kitty from the 18 series.

Each series also features hidden editions in varying quantities. Designs are kept secret by the brand and must be discovered by collectors.
Size:Six sizes: 7 cm 100%, 14.5 cm 200%, 28 cm 400%, 70 cm 1000%, plus 3.5 cm 50% and 5 cm 70%
Specs:Each generation includes a birth certificate card for every bear, plus one or several limited-edition or hidden variants to heighten the fun of collecting.
Material:Bearbrick is primarily made from ABS and PVC, with some limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked materials.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a few limited editions produced abroad.
Editions:When collectors refer to "Japanese version" or "Hong Kong version," these are merely distinctions in the point of sale. The toys themselves are identical—manufactured by the same factory. Different regions may have different legal requirements, resulting in varying certification labels, but everything else is exactly the same. The mainland version available for purchase is identical to the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear-head features: both ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), cheeks and snout area are slightly rounded, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (naked body), head can rotate 360° at the neck
Torso:Rounded belly, straight back
Arm:100% version features fully rotatable shoulders, claw-shaped hands with no fingers, and hands that rotate freely at the wrists — the key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear figures
Waist:Fully rotatable 360°, hips slightly extended downward
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward with two circular holes. The soles are flat with one round hole each. The legs have a cube-like silhouette. Version information is typically printed on the back of the legs.
Disassembly:By design, the head, arms, and legs of Bearbrick can be separated from the torso (a firm pull does the job; hands are not detachable). However, frequent disassembly is not recommended—repeated removal loosens the connection points over time, leading to a 'habitually loose' condition where parts dangle and wobble without the snug fit.
400% & 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same Bearbrick silhouette as the smaller versions, just larger. Their arms and legs only rotate in the front-back plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to internal gear design in the larger sizes, unlike the 100% which is simply modular assembly. Additionally, these two sizes are non-disassemblable—do not apply force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and torso mimic those of a Kubrick figure, as Bearbrick's design is derived from the Kubrick body. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's brick figures, which Medicom later adapted to create Bearbrick.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous painting. More importantly, Medicom Toy found the perfect angle—crossing over with street culture, films, and contemporary trends to create a new form of art. Collaborations with global artists, designers, and fashion brands produce limited and special editions, often paired with streetwear releases. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
