BASIC (Base Model):Each generation releases one color as its signature shade. It features a bright bead on the chest and nine letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.

FLAG series:Each generation includes a basic flag series.

Version:The so-called "Japanese version" and "Hong Kong version" that collectors often mention are simply regional sales versions—there is no difference in the actual product. All are made by the same manufacturer. Differences may only include varying certification labels due to different local regulations. Everything else is identical. The mainland version available is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear-head characteristics: ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's asymmetric ears), cheeks slightly puffed, nose is a small rounded bump, no mouth or eyes (blank), head joint rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Belly arched, back straight
Arms:100% model features freely rotating shoulders, pincer-shaped hands with no fingers, and wrists that rotate freely—key distinguishing traits from Popobe and other teddy bears.
Waist:Can rotate 360° freely; buttocks slightly lowered.
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions at the hip joint. Tops of feet extend slightly forward with two round holes on each foot. Soles are flat with a circular hole in each. Legs have a cube-like silhouette. Version info is typically found on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can all be detached from the torso (a firm pull will do the trick—the hands are the exception). However, this is not recommended. Frequent separation loosens the connectors, eventually resulting in a "habitual disconnect" where the parts hang loosely and wobble around without any structural integrity.
400% and 1000% size notes:These two sizes are identical in shape, just larger. Their arms and legs can only rotate within the front-to-back plane and cannot pivot sideways. This is because the larger size features internal gear mechanisms, unlike the 100% which is simply a snap-together modular design. Naturally, these sizes are also non-disassemblable—never force them apart.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble a block-figure design because it adopts the Kubrick form. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, and Medicom built upon this to design Bearbrick.
Character:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also because Medicom found the perfect angle—cross-industry collaborations that merge street culture, film, and fashion with Bearbrick, transforming it into art. Partnerships with global artists, designers, and lifestyle brands have produced limited and special editions, often bundled with streetwear, creating overnight queues for purchases. This demand has driven prices up, making later collectors pay a premium.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
