Bearbrick, also known to many as the building block bear, is a toy produced by Japanese company Medicom. It was officially launched in August 2001, and by 2009 the 18 th generation had been released. It is distributed in mainland China by PPW.

版本：The so-called "Japan version" or "HK version" that collectors mention refer only to the point of sale—there is no difference in the toy itself. All are produced by the same manufacturer. Depending on the market and applicable regulations, different certification labels may be applied, but otherwise the products are identical. The mainland version available for purchase is exactly the same as the Japan version.

头：Typical bear-head characteristics: ears are equal in size (unlike Qee's mismatched ears), cheeks and lips are slightly rounded, nose is a small rounded protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck.

腿：Legs rotate freely front, back, left, and right at the thigh joint. The top of each foot extends slightly forward with two circular holes. The sole is flat with one circular hole per foot. Legs are cubic in shape. Version info typically appears on the back of the leg.
拆卸：By design, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be separated from the torso (pull them off with force—hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended. Frequent separation loosens the joints, eventually causing habitual separation. Without the BONE, parts become loose and wobbly.
400%，1000%特别说明：These two Bearbrick sizes are identical in shape, just larger. Their arms and legs can only rotate in the front-back plane, not sideways. This is due to the internal gear design required for the larger size, unlike the 100% version which uses purely modular assembly. These two sizes are also non-disassemblable—never use force.
祖籍：Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble those of a block figure because it adopts the Kubricks design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, and Medicom Company designed Bearbrick based on that.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.
Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.
Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
