Bearbrick is the widely known collectible toy produced by Japan's MediumICOM Company. It launched in August 2001, and by 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. PPW is its mainland China distributor.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Brick Bear, Bricky Bear, Transforming Bricky.
Basic Introduction to Bearbrick:
Styles:Each generation of Bearbrick includes BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC base model:Each generation is released in one signature color, with a bright bead on the chest and 9 letters that combine to spell B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN Clear Colorway:Each generation features transparent color, with transparent as the primary option and different colors released.
PATTERN graphic model:Each generation features different graphics, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG national flag style:Each generation features a core flag collection.
HORROR horror style:A terrifying anime character in every generation.
CUTE adorable style:Each generation features a select cute design, mostly created by female designers.
ANIMAL animal style:Every generation features a design inspired by an animal, though not necessarily a real one. The famous Hello Kitty is one example from the 18 series.

Size:7 cm 100%, 14.5 cm 200%, 28 cm 400%, 70 cm 1000%, plus 3.5 cm 50% and 5 cm 70%—six different sizes

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, while some limited editions use metal, wood, flocking, or other materials.

Version:Terms such as “Japanese version” and “Hong Kong version” generally refer only to where the item is sold, with no difference in the toys themselves. All are made by the same manufacturer. However, different sales regions may have different legal requirements, resulting in different certification marks. Otherwise, they are identical. The mainland China versions available for purchase are exactly the same as the Japanese versions.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head with equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's large ears), slightly puffed cheeks, and a small rounded muzzle; no mouth or eyes (blank design), with the head able to rotate 360° at the neck
Torso:Raised belly and straight back
Arms:The 100% model can rotate freely at the shoulders. The hands are claw-shaped with no fingers and can rotate freely at the wrists, distinguishing it from other bear figures such as popobe.
Waist:The waist rotates a full 360°, with the hips extending slightly downward.
Legs:Can be rotated freely in any direction at the upper thigh. The feet extend slightly forward, with two round holes on each foot. The soles are flat, with one round hole in each. The legs are cuboid in shape. Version information is generally printed on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be separated from the torso by pulling forcefully, although the hands cannot be removed. However, this is not recommended, as repeated separation can loosen the joints. Eventually, it becomes habitually detached, with no internal structure and a loose, wobbling feel.
400%, 1000% special notes:The 400% and 1000% Bearbrick figures share the same shape, with the larger size being the only difference. Their arms and legs only move forward and backward within a single plane and cannot swing sideways. This is due to their larger size and gear mechanism inside, unlike the modular construction of the 100% figures. Neither size is disassemblable, so never use excessive force.
Country of origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body are similar to those of a brick-built figure because the design is derived from the Kubrick. The name Kubrick originally referred to the brick-built LEGO figure, which Medicom later used as the basis for Bearbrick.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
