Bearbrick is the renowned block-bear toy produced by Japanese company Medicom, officially launched in August 2001—by 2009, the 18 th generation had been released. Mainland China distribution is handled by PPW.

Version:What collectors often call 'Japanese version,' 'Hong Kong version,' etc. are simply regional sale distinctions. There is no difference in the product itself—all are manufactured by the same factory. The only potential variation stems from different local regulations, which may require different certification labels. Everything else is identical. The mainland China version is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Body Features
Head:Typical bear head with symmetrical ears (unlike Qee's asymmetrical ears), slightly rounded cheeks, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° freely at the neck
Torso:Belly out, back straight
Arms:The 100% features rotating shoulders, claw-shaped hands without fingers, and hands that rotate at the wrists—a key distinguishing feature from popobe and other bear figures.
Waist:Full 360° rotation; hips slightly extended downward.
Legs:Legs rotate freely in all directions around the thigh joint. The instep extends slightly forward with two circular holes on each foot. The sole is flat with one circular hole per foot. The leg is cube-shaped. Version information is typically printed on the back of the leg.
Disassembly:In principle, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs are detachable from the torso—simply pull them off with force (the hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended. Frequent disassembly loosens the connection points, eventually leading to 'habitual separation' where parts become wobbly and unsteady.
Special Notes for 400%, 1000%:These two sizes of Bearbrick are identical in shape—simply larger. However, their arms and legs rotate only forward and backward within a single plane, unable to move sideways. This is because the larger size requires an internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% version which uses simple snap-together modules. Neither of these sizes is disassemblable—do not force them apart...

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
