Bearbrick is the iconic block-style bear toy produced by Japan's Medicom. First launched in August 2001, by 2009 it had reached its 18 th generation. The mainland China agent is PPW.

Bearbrick overview:
Styles:Each Bearbrick generation includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL
BASIC basic model:Each iteration releases one color as its signature shade. It features a single glossy bead on the chest, followed by 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K when collected.
JELLYBEAN transparent model:Each iteration releases a translucent colorway. While transparency is the core aesthetic, different colors are released.
PATTERN Pattern Style:Each generation features distinct patterns, prints, or special motifs.
FLAG Flag Style:Each generation includes a core flag-themed series.
HORROR style:Terrifying anime characters across every generation.
CUTE style:Each generation features one cute design, most created by female designers.

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth certificate card for every bear, with one or more limited or hidden editions released to enhance the collectible experience.
Material:Bearbrick toys are primarily made from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked materials.
Place of Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, while select limited editions are produced abroad.
Editions:Players often refer to 'Japanese version,' 'Hong Kong version,' etc., but these simply indicate different sales regions. The toys themselves are identical—manufactured by the same maker. Depending on the market, different certification labels may be applied due to varying regulations, but everything else is the same. Mainland China versions are identical to Japanese versions.
Physical Characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head features: equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's mismatched sizes), slightly puffed cheeks and muzzle, small rounded nose bump, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck
Body:Belly rounded, back straight
Arms:100% style features rotatable shoulders, pincer-style claw hands with no individual fingers, and hands rotatable at the wrists (key distinguishing feature from popobe and other teddy bears)
Waist:360° free rotation, hips extend slightly downward
Legs:The thigh joint rotates freely in all directions. The tops of the feet extend slightly forward, each with two round holes. The soles are flat, each with one round hole. The legs are cuboid in shape. Version information is typically found on the back of the legs.
Disassembly:Technically, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs are detachable from the torso (just pull them off with force—hands excluded). However, this is not recommended: repeated separation loosens the joints, eventually causing "habitual detachment" where the figure loses its structure and becomes wobbly and limp.
400%, 1000% Special Note:The 400% and 1000% Bearbrick share the same body form as the 100%, just in a larger size. However, their arms and legs can only rotate within a front-to-back plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to the internal gear design required for the larger size—unlike the 100%, which is simply a modular assembly. Naturally, these two sizes cannot be disassembled either. Do not apply excessive force.
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and torso follow a block-figure design, as Bearbrick is based on the Kubrick form. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's block-figure toys, which Medicom then adapted to create Bearbrick.
Characteristics:The widespread popularity of Bearbrick stems from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom's strategic approach. By crossing over with street culture, film, and fashion elements, Bearbrick evolved into an entirely new form of art. Collaborations with artists, designers, and brands worldwide produced limited and special editions, often bundled with apparel, triggering overnight queues and fierce demand. Prices surged accordingly, making later acquisitions a costly endeavor for collectors.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?
CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.
Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.
Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
