Bearbrick, the well-known brick bear toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM, officially launched in August 2001, with the 18 th generation released by 2009. Distributed in mainland China by PPW.

Bearbrick: Basic Introduction
Style:Each Bearbrick series includes standard variants: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC (standard):Each series releases one color as its signature shade. A single accent bead sits on the chest, along with 9 letters that spell out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN (transparent):Each generation features translucent colors. Primarily translucent, with varying color releases.
PATTERN styles:Each generation features different motifs, prints, or special patterns.
FLAG:Each generation features a basic flag series.
HORROR:An anime icon that is terrifying in every generation.
CUTE collection:A cute design selected from each generation, mostly by female designers.
ANIMAL collection:Each generation features an animal-themed design. It doesn't have to be a real animal—the iconic Hello Kitty from the 18 series.
SF Sci-Fi Style:Features a recognizable sci-fi character or motif.
ARTIST Artist Edition:Specially designed by renowned artists, with very limited quantities (2 per generation).
Each generation also features hidden variants in varying numbers; their designs are kept confidential by the brand and left for collectors to discover on their own.
Sizes:7 cm at 100%, 14.5 cm at 200%, 28 cm at 400%, 70 cm at 1000%, plus 3.5 cm at 50% and 5 cm at 70% — six sizes in total
Specifications:Each series includes a birth card for every Bearbrick, plus one or more limited-edition or secret variants to enhance collectibility.
Materials:Bearbrick primarily uses ABS and PVC; select limited editions feature metal, wood, or flocking finishes.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, with a small number of limited editions produced overseas.
Version:The 'Japanese version' or 'Hong Kong version' that collectors often mention refers only to the region of sale—there is no difference in the product itself. All are produced by the same manufacturer. Variations may include different certification labels due to regional regulations, but otherwise they are identical. Mainland China versions are exactly the same as Japanese versions.
Physical characteristics:
Head:Typical bear head with equal-sized ears (distinct from Qee's mismatched ears), slightly rounded cheeks and snout, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank face), head rotates 360° at the neck
Torso:Belly rounded, back straight
Arms:The 100% model features arms that rotate freely at the shoulders, claw-shaped hand with no fingers, and hands that rotate freely at the wrists—the main distinguishing feature from popobe and other teddy bears.
Waist:Full 360° rotation; hips slightly extend downward.
Legs:Full rotation at the hip joint in all directions. Dorsum of foot extends slightly forward with two round holes on each foot. Flat sole with one round hole per foot. Cubic leg profile. Version info typically on leg back.
Disassembly:By design, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (just pull hard), but the hands cannot be removed. However, frequent disassembly is not recommended—repeated separation loosens the connectors, eventually leading to 'habitual detachment' where the figure becomes wobbly and floppy without its structural support.
Important Note for 400% and 1000%:These two sizes are identical in shape, just larger. However, their arms and legs can only rotate in the forward-backward plane and cannot move sideways. This is because, due to their larger size, the internal mechanism uses a gear design, unlike the 100%, which is simply modular assembly. Likewise, these two sizes are also not detachable—never use force...
Origin:Bearbrick's limbs and body resemble a block figure because Bearbrick is built on the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO block figures, and Medicom designed Bearbrick on this foundation.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
