Bearbrick, the collectible toy manufactured by Japanese company MediumICOM, was officially launched in August 2001. By 2009, the 18 th series had been released. In mainland China, distribution is handled by PPW.

Bearbrick Basic Introduction:
Style:Each Bearbrick series includes base models: BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, ANIMAL.
BASIC base model:Each edition introduces a signature colorway. A bead decorates the chest, with 9 letters spelling out B E A R B R I C K.
JELLYBEAN transparent model:Each generation features transparent colors, primarily transparent but with some color variations.
PATTERNEach edition features unique designs, including prints and special patterns.
FLAG Country Flag series:Each generation includes a core Flag collection.
HORROR collection:An anime character that is terrifying in every generation.
CUTE Kawaii Style:Within each generation, one charming design is selected, mostly crafted by female designers.
ANIMAL motif:Each series features at least one animal-themed design. These need not be real animals—the iconic Hello Kitty appeared in Series 18.
SF sci-fi model:Select a well-known sci-fi character as the motif.
ARTIST collection:Specially designed by renowned artists, very limited quantity (2 pieces per series).
Each series also includes a varying number of hidden variants. The brand does not publicly reveal these designs—collectors must uncover them on their own.
Size:Six sizes available: 7 cm at 100%, 14.5 cm at 200%, 28 cm at 400%, 70 cm at 1000%, plus 3.5 cm at 50% and 5 cm at 70%
Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every bear, along with limited-edition or hidden variants to enhance the fun of collecting.
Materials:Bearbrick is primarily made from ABS and PVC, with select limited editions crafted from metal, wood, or flocked materials.
Origin:Most are manufactured in mainland China, though a few limited editions are produced abroad.
Version:When collectors refer to the "Japanese version," "HK version," etc., these are simply regional differences in sales location. The toys themselves are identical—manufactured by the same factory. The only variation may be additional certification labels due to differing local regulations. The mainland China version is exactly the same as the Japanese version.
Physical Features:
Head:Typical bear-head characteristics: ears equal in size (unlike Qee's asymmetric ears), slightly puffed cheek and lip area, small rounded nose protrusion, no mouth or eyes (blank body), head rotates 360° at the neck joint
Torso:Bulging belly, straight back
Arms:100% features fully rotating shoulders, pincer-style fingers, and wrists that rotate freely—a key distinction from other bearbrick brands such as popobe.
Waist:Can rotate 360° freely; the hips extend slightly downward.
Legs:Legs can rotate freely in all directions at the thigh joint. The tops of the feet extend slightly forward, each with two round holes. The soles are flat with a round hole in each sole. The legs have a cube-shaped form. Version info is typically on the back of the legs.
Disassembly:In principle, Bearbrick's head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso (a firm pull does the trick—only the hands are fixed). Frequent separation is not recommended, as connectors wear out over time, eventually causing a "habitual looseness" where parts dangle and wobble without structural support.
400%, 1000% Special Note:These two sizes share the same body shape, just scaled up. However, their arms and legs only rotate forward and backward in a single plane and cannot move sideways. This is due to the internal gear mechanism, unlike the 100% which uses modular assembly. Additionally, neither size is designed to be disassembled—avoid applying force.
Native place:Bearbrick's limbs and body mimic a block-figure silhouette because Bearbrick adopts the Kubrick design. The term Kubrick originated from LEGO's block figures, which Medicom built upon to create Bearbrick.
Personality:Bearbrick's widespread popularity stems not only from its innovative design and meticulous painting, but also from Medicom Company's perfect timing. By fusing streetwear elements, street culture, and film with Bearbrick, they created a fresh form of art. Collaborations with global artists, designers, and fashion brands resulted in limited and special editions. Pairings with streetwear labels sparked overnight queuing. 1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?
For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.
3. What packaging is included?
Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.
Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.
Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.
Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.
If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.
4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?
Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.
Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.
5. What should I know about craftsmanship?
Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.
Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.
6. What is a buyer store?
A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.
CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.
To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.
7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?
A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.
A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.
8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?
Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.
9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?
Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.
Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.
If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.
Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.
10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?
Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.
11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?
Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.
