积木熊 BE@RBRICK Daruma “GOUKAKU” G.I.D 400%

Bearbrick is a well-known collectible toy produced by Japanese company MediumICOM. It officially launched in August 2001, with the 18 th generation released by 2009. PPW is the mainland China distributor.
Nicknames: Bearbrick, be@rbrick, BB, Brick Bear, Transformable Bearbrick.

Bearbrick Overview:

Style:Each generation of Bearbrick includes BASIC, JELLYBEAN, PATTERN, FLAG, HORROR, SF, CUTE, and ANIMAL.
BASIC base model:Each generation features one signature color, a shiny bead on the chest, and 9 letters that spell BEARBRICK.

JELLYBEAN Transparent:Each generation features a transparent color option, with transparent as the main color and new shades introduced.

PATTERN Pattern Style:Each generation features a different pattern, whether printed or special.

FLAG National Flag Style:Each generation features a core FLAG collection.

HORROR Horror Style:Horror-inspired anime characters from every generation.

CUTE Cute style:Each generation features a cute design, most created by female designers.

ANIMAL Animal style:Each generation features an animal-inspired design, though the animal may not be real. Series 18 includes the iconic Hello Kitty.

SF Sci-Fi Edition:Features a well-known sci-fi character as its design element.

ARTIST Artist Edition:Special designs created by renowned artists in very limited quantities. (2 per generation)

In addition, each generation includes a varying number of hidden items. Their designs are not officially revealed, so players must discover them themselves.

积木熊 BE@RBRICK Daruma “GOUKAKU” G.I.D 400%
Size:7 cm 100%, 14.5 cm 200%, 28 cm 400%, 70 cm 1000%, 3.5 cm 50%, and 5 cm 70%—six different sizes

Specifications:Each generation includes a birth card for every bear, with one or more limited-edition or hidden editions released to make collecting more enjoyable.

Material:Bearbrick is primarily made of ABS and PVC, while some limited editions use metal, wood, or flocked materials.

Country of Origin:Most are made in mainland China, while a small number of limited editions are produced overseas.

Version:Terms such as “Japanese version” and “Hong Kong version” generally refer only to the region of sale. There is no difference in the toys themselves, as all are made by the same manufacturer. Depending on local regulations, different certification marks may be added for the region of sale, but everything else is identical. The mainland China version is exactly the same as the Japanese version.

Physical characteristics:

Head:Classic bear head with equal-sized ears (unlike Qee's oversized ears), slightly puffed cheeks, and a small rounded muzzle; no mouth or eyes (plain sculpt); rotates freely 360° at the neck

Torso:Protruding abdomen with a straight back

Arm:100% articulated at the shoulder, with pincer-shaped, fingerless hands that rotate freely at the wrist (the key feature distinguishing it from Popobe and other bear figurines)
Waist:Rotates freely 360°, with the hips extending slightly downward.

Legs:The legs can rotate freely in any direction at the upper thigh. The tops of the feet extend slightly forward, with two round holes on each. The soles are flat, with one round hole in each. The legs are cuboid in shape, with version information typically printed on the back.

Disassembly:In principle, a Bearbrick’s head, arms, and legs can be detached from the torso by pulling with force (the hands cannot be removed). However, this is not recommended, as repeated removal can loosen the joints and lead to “habitual detachment,” leaving the figure without its internal structure and loose and unstable.

400%, 1000% special notes:These two Bearbrick sizes share the same shape, with the 400% and 1000% versions simply scaled up. Their arms and legs only move forward and backward and cannot swing to the sides. This is due to their large size and internal gear construction, unlike the 100% version, which is assembled from separate modules. Neither of these two sizes is disassemblable, so never use excessive force.

Origins:Bearbrick’s hands, feet, and body resemble those of a brick-built figure because the design is based on Kubrick, a term originally used for LEGO brick figures. Medicom Toy developed Bearbrick on this foundation.

Character:BE@RBRICK has become a global icon thanks to its innovative designs and meticulous paintwork. Medicom found the perfect way to combine street culture, pop culture, and film with BE@RBRICK, creating entirely new works of art. Through collaborations with artists, designers, and leading brands worldwide, Medicom has released limited-edition and special-edition pieces. BE@RBRICK has also been paired with select streetwear brands, often prompting overnight queues and driving prices higher, making future collections increasingly costly to own.

FAQ

Notes on authenticity, packaging, DOG TG, silver care, and official CHHES channels.

1. How does CHHES ensure authenticity?

CHHES follows a five-step authenticity process: sourcing review, inbound inspection, third-party authentication support, tamper-evident tagging, and after-sales review.

Items are mainly sourced from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner stores. Every item is checked before shipping.

Jewelry is checked for shape, engraving, handmade finishing, material, and oxidation details. Apparel is checked for anti-counterfeit details, serial information, embroidery labels, and workmanship.

Depending on the item, CHHES can provide a counter receipt scan or copy. Original receipts are kept by the buyer for record keeping.

Items may include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Authentication after delivery is supported when the tag and packaging remain intact.

If you have any authenticity concern after delivery, keep the item, tags, packaging, and authentication proof intact, then contact dedicated support for review.

If this is your first order and you prefer a secured checkout path, you can also purchase through the Taobao store or WeChat mini program. Contact support for details.

2. Why do some clothing items not include a DOG TG?

For Chrome Hearts apparel, US boutiques normally collect the DOG TG at checkout. Most Asian boutiques outside mainland China also collect it.

3. What packaging is included?

Chrome Hearts apparel usually comes in a plain clear plastic bag.

Chrome Hearts jewelry usually comes with a black suede pouch, not a boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags usually come with a boutique silk dust bag.

Shopping bags are limited because boutiques usually provide only one shopping bag per buyer visit, not one bag per item.

If extra packaging is needed, it can be selected in the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. Can CHHES provide boutique receipts?

Boutiques do not issue one separate receipt for each individual item. Contact support if a receipt copy is needed.

Original receipts must be kept by the buyer, so CHHES can only provide scans or copies when available.

5. What should I know about craftsmanship?

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Slightly unclear engravings, fine scratches, dark dots, or small pits can be normal brand characteristics and are not necessarily quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may show fabric differences, loose threads inside the garment, uneven print clarity, irregular stitching, cracked prints, or wash fading. These can be normal brand characteristics.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and partner stores.

CHHES buyers are located worldwide, with many in the United States. They provide first-hand sourcing, and many also maintain domestic warehouses.

To ensure authenticity, items are centralized at the CHHES shipping point, inspected, and then packed for shipment.

7. How is a buyer store different from a personal shopper?

A personal shopper is usually an individual buyer, so sourcing capacity and available styles are limited.

A buyer store works with professional buyer teams and overseas partner stores, so supply is broader and less limited by one person or one location.

8. Why are some items not eligible for return or exchange?

Chrome Hearts boutique purchases are generally not returnable or exchangeable. Items marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable on the product page follow that policy.

9. Why does silver turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes and can turn black or yellow. Sulfur or sulfur dioxide in the air can react with silver and form grey-black silver sulfide.

Oxidation speed varies by body chemistry and environment. Keep silver dry and avoid contact with liquids.

If silver oxidizes, use a polishing cloth or polishing stick. Do not clean Chrome Hearts silver with silver washing liquid.

Some new rings may leave a little black residue at first. This is extra silver powder from the new item and usually disappears after a period of wear.

10. Why can the pattern vary on the same ring style?

Ring pattern examples across different sizes

Patterns and letters on a ring are adjusted for different ring sizes, so the layout may vary between sizes.

11. Why is the oxidation on silver not very black?

Chrome Hearts silver oxidation color example

Chrome Hearts oxidation has its own look. It is not always deep black and can appear grey or brown-grey.

12. What are the official CHHES channels?

Please use official CHHES channels: www.chhes.com, WeChat mini program chhes, Taobao store chhes, WeChat chhes2, Douyin chhes, RED chhes1, Kuaishou chhes, and Weibo chhes.

If a store has a similar name, unusually low pricing, or cannot be verified by official support, contact CHHES support before ordering.
