1. How is authenticity ensured?

All items are sourced primarily from Chrome Hearts boutiques, professional buyers, and partner retail stores. Each piece is inspected before shipment.

Jewelry is carefully checked for appearance, engraving, hand-polishing marks, material, and distressing; apparel is carefully checked for anti-counterfeit tags, serial numbers, embroidered labels, and craftsmanship details.

Counter receipt scans or copies may be provided depending on the item; original receipts are retained by the buyer.

Items include a security tag or anti-swap sticker. Inspection is supported after delivery while tags remain intact, and third-party authentication platforms may be used.

2. Why don't apparel items include DOG TG?

When purchasing Chrome Hearts apparel at boutique, all United States boutiques will take back DOG TGs. Asian boutiques will generally take them back as well, except in mainland China.

3. About packaging

Chrome Hearts apparel comes packaged in plain transparent plastic bags with no design.

Chrome Hearts jewelry is packaged in black boutique suede pouches; there is no boutique jewelry box.

Chrome Hearts bags and accessories are packaged in boutique silk dust bags.

Chrome Hearts shopping bags—buyers can only obtain one per boutique visit, so they are not provided for each item.

If packaging is needed, it can be purchased from the accessories category or on the order submission page.

4. About boutique receipts

Boutiques do not support issuing a separate receipt for each item. Contact us if you need one provided.

Because buyers must retain original receipts, only scans or copies can be provided.

5. About product craftsmanship

Chrome Hearts jewelry is handmade. Engravings may be blurry or unclear; scratches, dark spots, and small dents may occur. These are all normal for this brand and not product quality defects.

Chrome Hearts apparel may have variations in fabric, loose threads, unclear prints, uneven stitching, cracked prints, and color fading from washing—all are normal brand characteristics and not product defects.

6. What is a buyer store?

A buyer store works with professional overseas buyers and physical partner stores.

Our professional buyers are spread across the globe, with most based in the United States. They provide us with first-hand merchandise, and most have warehouses in mainland China.

To ensure authenticity, all products are sent to our fulfillment point for inspection before packing and shipment.

7. What is the difference between personal shopping and a buyer store?

Personal shopping is usually handled by an individual with limited capacity and availability.

Buyer boutiques source from professional buyer teams and overseas physical stores, unrestricted by location, personnel, or shop quantity, resulting in relatively ample inventory.

8. Why are some items not returnable or exchangeable?

Chrome Hearts boutiques do not accept returns or exchanges. Therefore, items marked as non-returnable on the product page cannot be returned or exchanged.

9. Why can silver jewelry turn black or yellow?

Sterling silver jewelry will oxidize and darken or yellow over time. Sterling silver reacts chemically with sulfur (S) or sulfur dioxide (SO₂) in the air, producing grayish-black silver sulfide (Ag₂S), a water-insoluble powder.

Sterling silver jewelry may change over time depending on individual body chemistry and environment; the oxidation rate varies. Avoid contact with liquids and keep dry.

Silver's chemical properties are less stable than platinum and gold, and it often oxidizes and turns black or yellow due to water or other chemicals in the air, losing its luster. If it turns black or yellow from oxidation, simply wipe it with a POLISHING cloth or silver polishing stick to restore its shine like new. Do not use silver cleaning solutions or similar products.

Some customers notice black residue when first wearing a ring—this is excess silver powder on new rings and will disappear with wear.
